Telugu hit movie Gorintaku was based on ‘brother-sister’ sentiment. this isn't something new when it comes to South Indian film industry. There have been numerous flicks based on this theme from the ancient period to the present day.
Siva Rajkumar’s Kannada film ‘Anna Thangi‘ happened to be a blockbuster, which was later remade in Telugu as ‘Ghorintaku‘. The film featured Dr. Rajashekar and Meera Jasmine as brother and sister while Jai Akash played the other lead role.
Now, the film is all set to be remade in Tamil titled as ‘Marudhani‘. The film is directed by V.R. Prathap and is produced by K Prabhakar and R Krishna. Others in the star-casts are Aarthi Agarwal, Hema Choudhary, Mayilsamy, Aarthi and Payilvan Ranganathan….
The other credits are Sai Suresh (story), Prakash (dialogues), Akilan (cinematography) Piraisudan, Samson and Abhiman (lyrics) and S A Rajkumar (music).
